Yes, the two prepaid rates (S and M) have data included to connect to the internet in Andorra.
If you need to connect via roaming in Europe or Turkey, you can enable the Daily data roaming. If not, you can make and receive calls or connect at the current roaming rates.
To ensure that you don’t have any issues with your connection, especially when you’re outside Andorra, it’s advisable to configure the setting known as “APN”. Note that your settings may change depending on your phone brand and operating system version.
For iPhone devices: go to Settings > Mobile data > Mobile data network. Enter the word “internet” in the mobile data “Access point”. Once this is done, you may need to restart your phone.
For Samsung devices: go to Settings > Connections > Mobile networks > Access point names. Add a new access point and, in the “Name” and “APN” section, enter the word “internet”. Once this is done, click on the options icon (three dots) and select “Save”. Now all you have to do is enable the mobile data in the “Connections” section. You may need to restart your phone for the settings to be activated.
For Xiaomi devices: go to Settings > SIM cards and mobile networks (select the Andorra Telecom SIM) > APN > New APN or “+”. Enter the word “internet” in the “Name” and “APN” section. Once this is done, select “More” and “Save”. Now you only need to enable the mobile data in the “SIM Cards and mobile networks” section. You may need to restart your phone for the settings to be activated.
For Wiko devices: go to Settings > Wireless connections and networks > More > Mobile networks > APN. Enter the word “internet” in the “Name” and “APN” section. Once this is done, select “More” and “Save”. Now you only need to enable the mobile data in the “SIM Cards and mobile networks” section. You may need to restart your phone for the settings to be activated.
Once set up, if you still have no mobile data service, make sure you have no restrictions activated by calling 115.
Prepaid mobile phone cards are valid for 12 months from the time the last top-up was made.
Once these 12 months have elapsed, you will have 2 months to reactivate your card. After these 14 months have elapsed since your last top-up, the card will be deactivated.

The demand for greater speed in connectivity is growing day by day. 5G is the technology that meets this need, offering users the benefits brought by high speed.
The value of 5G is its immediacy, with its latency increasing from 20 milliseconds to less than 10 milliseconds and theoretical speeds greater than 1 Gbps.
The roll-out of 5G will gradually begin in Andorra in December 2021. By the end of the first half of 2022, it will be compatible with most mobile phones.
At first, 5G will be available to just a few users in the centres of each parish, without the need to install new aerials or use frequency bands different from the existing ones.
As with 4G, to implement 5G each mobile manufacturer will have to approve the network on which the mobile devices it has made are to be used. The first devices set to be able to use them include those made by Xiaomi, Huawei and Sony that are compatible with 5G. 5G is expected to be offered to Apple and Samsung mobiles in the first six months of 2022.
